Joaquim Coelho, Head of Project & Business Development at CJR Renewables, leads the international project development and business operations in the renewable energy sector. He is responsible for the global coordination of proposals and strategic expansion into markets such as CEE, LATAM, and EMEA.

An Electrical Engineer specialized in power systems from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), he brings over 15 years of experience in the sector. Between 2019 and 2024, he was directly involved in the awarding of projects totaling approximately 4,000 MW in solar, wind, and battery storage (BESS) technologies. With a results-oriented approach, empathetic leadership, and a strong focus on building solid partnerships, Joaquim is recognized as a leading figure in the industry.

He currently leads a multidisciplinary team of over 30 professionals across Portugal, Poland, Romania, and Chile, demonstrating his ability to align commercial strategy with technical requirements and to mobilize people in complex, multicultural environments.
