Indira Campos
Resident Representative for Cabo Verde @ World Bank Group (Cape Verde)

Indira Campos is the current Resident Representative of the World Bank Group (WBG) in Cape Verde, where she is responsible for leading the representation of the Group’s three main institutions: the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Within the World Bank Group, Indira previously served as Country Officer for IFC, overseeing the markets of Angola, Botswana, and Namibia.

 

With over 17 years of experience, Indira began her career at one of the world’s most prestigious think tanks, Chatham House in London, before moving into the development finance sector. She has worked with several multilateral institutions, including the European Commission in Brussels and the African Development Bank in Tunis. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she also worked with the global strategy consulting firm Boston Consulting Group.

 

Indira holds a degree in Economics, a Master’s in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London (UK), and an MBA from IESE Business School in Spain.
