Nuno Duarte is an architect and urban planner, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto (FAUP). With extensive experience in urban development in African contexts, he began his work in Angola with the preparation of Municipal Master Plans, Urbanization Plans, and Detailed Plans. 

Between 2012 and 2016, he served as a consultant to the Secretary of State for Construction of the Republic of Angola, working directly with the Ministry on housing and territorial planning policies. He played a key role in strategic initiatives such as the “One Million Homes” Program and the urban development of Kilamba, Camama, and Cacuaco.

He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Iperforma Portugal and Managing Director of Iperforma Angola, both part of the Iperforma Group, with over 40 years of market experience. He divides his time between both countries, overseeing commercial strategy and coordinating large-scale projects, including Phase 2 of the Kilamba Urban Infrastructure project (20,000 housing units).

Nuno Duarte has also published work in urban planning journals, including Revista Africana Studia.
