Mohamed Azzim is Full Professor at ISCTE where he teaches corporate finance in the undergraduate and master programs, and advanced corporate finance in the doctoral program. At this institution, he also held the positions of President of the scientific committees of the business school, the research units in finance and management, and the doctoral programs in finance and management.
He held the position of Ombudsman and Full Professor at the Leuven and Ghent Foundation for research where he developed and taught value creation with tech-simulated programs to the leadership of large banks in Europe and Asia, and chaired over 60 accreditation committees for the Fundação A3ES. He is currently serving as a scientific expert for the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia and as chairman of the audit council of the Centro Português de Fundações.
Professor Azzim has been invited to chair and speak at several conferences including the Asian Bankers Summit, the Economist and the Euromoney. He obtained his doctorate from Reading University and developed his post-doctoral studies as a Fulbright scholar at Harvard University.
