Linda Mabhena-Olagunju is the founder and Managing Director of DLO Energy Resources Group (Pty) Ltd one of Africa’s largest wholly black female owned energy companies. Under her leadership DLO has grown its portfolio to include a variety of projects including utility scale grid connected clean energy projects as well as off grid projects. They currently own and operate one of Africa’s largest wind farms with a capacity of 244MW.
She is a seasoned executive having served on numerous local and international boards She currently sits on the University of Oxford’s International Advisory Board. She has previously acted as an advisor to Minister of Energy in South Africa as well as to the Zayed Future Sustainability prize. She has been recognised by ESI as 1 of the 50 Most Influential People in the African Power Sector. She is listed as a Choiseul 100 Africa Economic Leaders for Tomorrow. She is the recipient of numerous business awards including the prestigious CNBC All Africa Business Leaders Award.
