João Graça Gomes is a Postgraduate Researcher at Imperial College London's Dyson School of Design Engineering, focusing on techno-economic models for power systems decarbonization.
Previously, he was Head of Research and Development at the Sino-Portuguese Center for New Energy Technologies, driving renewable energy projects between Portugal and China. He has also worked as a Renewable Energy Policy Analyst at APREN, specializing in policy and advocacy. João has academic experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Lisbon and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He holds an MSc in Energy and Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Power Engineering and is actively involved in international energy initiatives, including the World Energy Council's FEL-100 program.
