Grzegorz Małecki is the President of the board and one of the founders of the Institute of Security and Strategy, a think tank that supports the process of building and promoting strategic thinking in Poland, building a long-term and efficient security and defense policy for the country. In 1991, Colonel Małecki started to serve at the Polish Intelligence Services (UOP, ABW and AW) and in 2015 was appointed as the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Agency (AW). Mr. Małecki has comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in the field of national security, in particular intelligence, cyber security, international affairs and diplomacy as well as audit and control in the state administration.
Grzegorz Małecki was also appointed as the First Consul at the Polish Embassy in Madrid in 2005, Secretary of the Committee for Special Services at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland and organized and managed the work of the audit and internal control department in Opole City Hall.
Mr. Małecki is the university lecturer, author of numerous publications, participant of many domestic and foreign conferences devoted to issues of intelligence, national security, cyber security, intelligence systems management, energy security, international relations, control and audit. Colonel Małecki has been working as the Head of the cybersecurity, economy and energy programs at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation since 2017.
