Short Bio
Mina Kwansima Okuru is a Communications professional passionate about using strategic communications to help brands win the hearts and minds of their relevant stakeholders. Having worked on both client and agency side of communications and marketing, Mina has for the past decade helped brands tell their stories in the most compelling way giving them a voice where it matters. Her experience in the communications industry has seen her work in Media, International Development, and the Third Sector. She has a background in Radio Production, Employee Engagement, Corporate Affairs, Reputation Management, Crisis Communications, Public Affairs, Diplomacy, Advocacy and Brand Management.
Her current role as the Communications Manager for the Ghanaian-German Centre for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration implemented by GIZ Ghana has seen her raise the profile of the Centre both locally and internationally. She has spearheaded an array of initiatives which resulted in many firsts for the Centre, enhancing its brand recognition and greatly improving service quality through various communication bridges.
