Abdellah Menou
Director of International Academy of Civil Aviation (AIAC) Office National Des Aéroports, Morocco
Abdellah Menou heads up the International Academy of Civil Aviation at the Office National Des Aéroports (ONDA) since Octobre 22, 2012. He has worked for Morocco’s national airport authority since 2005 and the projects he has managed include working with the United States Trade and Development Agency on an independent review of the air transport system in Morocco. This project assisted in the design of an integrated system plan for coordinating the development, modernisation, and expansion of Morocco’s airports. He has also been involved with the METIS MEdiTerranean Introduction of GNSS Services project launched by the Galileo Joint Undertaking. Before joining ONDA, Abdellah Menou was an Associate Professor at the University Of Orleans, France. He has HdR ( High Qualification Research) in Applied sciences and Transportations from University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier in France and he has a Ph.D. in Applied Sciences (Civil and Mechanical Engineering), from the University of Pau (UPPA), France. From 2015 to 2020, he was appointed as Associate Professor at the University of Quebec at Rimouski Canada and served as vice president of Human Ressources of Airports Council International at the African Section. Member of the technical committee of GIE Galileo Moroccan Group of GNSS applications in civil aviation in Morocco and he was also chairman of the International Symposium on Composites and Aircraft Materials, In June 2022, he joined The European Academy of Air and Space in Toulouse as elected associated member.
