Kugesh Reddy

Kugesh Reddy is an experienced financial
services executive with a track record of delivering large transformation projects and managing complex operations across the financial crime and compliance, retail and corporate banking sectors. For more than 15 years he has worked with international financial services company’s executive teams and regulators in Africa and Europe, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Mauritius, UK, and Ireland.
His experience extends to the Americas and Asia where he has worked with vendors in the USA and India.
Kugesh understands the entire value chain of retail and corporate banking, including risk management, strategic planning, data analytics and the use of AI in financial services. He is a seasoned financial crime, technology and transformation expert who brings to the table a unique blend of industry knowledge, technical prowess together with the policy and regulatory expertise. Kugesh’s corporate expertise is complemented by his entrepreneurial experience that included setting up a successful logistics business for the petrochemical industry, which he sold in the 2000s.
Kugesh has a BCompt degree from the University of South Africa, read his MBA at Henley Business School, is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and completed the Leading with Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence course at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
He is a founder and director of Afripolo NPC a non profit organisation founded to promote swimming and water polo in Africa. He is also Chairman and Director of the Croft Close Homeowners Association and has competed in the Ranger Odyssey Africa competition, travelling across six African countries in 21 days.
