José Miguel Cerdeira is an economist specialized in macroeconomic analysis with more than 8 years’ experience in analyzing the Angolan economy.
He created and leads the Economic Studies Office at Banco de Fomento Angola and, as the bank’s chief economist, has supported the expansion of economic knowledge about Angola through the publication of dozens of informative reports. He was also an economist at Banco BPI’s Economic Studies Office, focusing on monitoring the Portuguese, Angolan and American economies, with particular emphasis on analyzing public finances.
