Ivan Marten

Dr Ivan Marten has 35 years’ experience in the energy and environment sectors.  

Currently he is the Chairman of Orkestra Basque Institute of Competitiveness, Independent Board member of energy companies like Repsol, Tubacex, ENSO and EVE (Basque Energy Agency) and Chairman of the advisory board of Tikehau Energy Transition Fund. He is a member of the Industry Advisory board of IEF (international Energy Forum) and of Denmark Innovation Fund. 

Previously until he retired in 2018 he was Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Vice Chairman Energy (2016-2018) and Global Leader of the Energy practice for nine years. 

 He has been a frequent speaker at energy forums such as IEF, WPC, GECF, Aspen Institute, Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable, IGU, Petrotech, SPE and IPTC…
